Description:
Gight dates back to around 1560 and is associated with a particularly wild branch of the Gordon family. Branch members appear to have been involved in frequent incidents of murder and sudden death.
This spectacular and eerie set of ruins is perhaps most renowned for being the childhood home of the poet Lord Byron.
